What can we say about amazing Miss Mabel! Well, she came to us after being found with her 5 babies in an abandoned car and we estimate that she is just a baby herself at no older than 1 years old!

She has been a fantastic mum to her babies and an absolute joy to foster and now it’s time for her to find her own forever family where she can enjoy being a kitten herself and enjoy all the love and fuss in the world! She is the most loving little girl who loves being picked up and cuddled! She’s very vocal and enjoys a chat (especially to tell you that she’s ready for her next meal!)

Since having her kittens she has started to play with toys and her foster mum thinks that she will continue to be playful once she is in her forever home. She doesn’t like loud noises but is obsessed with cat TV and will definitely want to go exploring outside once in her new home. For that reason we will be looking for a home away from busy roads with lots of lovely outdoor space that she can explore once settled.

We think she will be fine with cat savvy children (as long as they respect boundaries) and is fine with the resident dog in her foster home – she tells him off when he gets too close so with slow, careful introductions we think she will be fine to live with gentle, cat savvy dogs. She has also met the resident cats in her foster homes and booped noses with them a few times and been fine so we think she will also be able to live with cats, with gradual introductions.

She has had her first vaccination and microchip and will need to return to our vets in either Tamworth or Swadlincote in 3-4 weeks for her second. She will also be neutered before going to her new home. She is clean in her litter tray and enjoys wet and dry food. An adoption donation of £90 applies.
