About Norris

Handsome boy Norris is now feeling much better, and we are opening his applications for his new home.

Norris came in with horrific matting, he's been clipped in quite a few area so is currently looking quite scruffy for a Persian, and will need regular brushing in his new home.

Our vet believes he's between around 3 and 5, his teeth are pretty good and seems to be in good health.

Norris is a really quite chilled lad, he loves to just curl up in a nice comfy high spot and sleep his day away, he's not really one for playing or moving too much in general

We do however know that he has been an outdoor cat for quite some time, so we do think he would want to explore a new area once he's settled in. He would need to be away from busy roads or with an enclosed garden/catio.

He's met the fosters cats from a distance, and just stared at them with no aggression shown, so we think with slow introductions be would be fine to live with other neutered cats.

We have no idea how Norris would react to living with a dog or children, but I think given his own space and plenty of time would be quite happy to just pick his sleepy spot and enjoy life.

He is still wary of being picked up, and doesn't like carriers at all, but is happy to have gentle fuss.

Norris is neutered, will have his first vaccine next week and is now chipped.

He will need to return to our vets 3 weeks later for his second vaccine, if you use our Swadlincote or Tamworth vets this is included in his donation.

His adoption donation is £90
